usually its 2weeks before your due date you can stay until you go into labor but if your doctor recommends you to leave work, you have to get a stated letter for your job from the doctor. Like for example you had to be put on bed rest. Meanwhile you can leave your job anytime you want giving a 2week notice and that doesn't give you Ur job back its like your quiting your job then after a certain amount of time fill a application out and try to get hired again.
