It is not legal to pay for an opinion not given truthfully or given because of payment. However, As an expert witness, the attorney or court is required to pay for the expert's time and effort needed to prepare and review the medical, legal, or financial records, for the deposition, and/or court appearance.
you go to court and testify
Yes, that is illegal.
No police Officer has the power to make you pay a ticket before the court date. I happen to be a police Officer. When a Police Officer writes you a traffic citation he will give you a Court date that you are suppose to attend to prove your innocence. If you choose not to attend court you have the option to pay the fine. Paying the fine before your court date basically is saying that you are guilty. If the officer tells you to just pay the fine reason being is that he either has a weak case against you or he wont show up to court. Now for Example if you plea not guilty in court the Judge will give you another court date to attend in which the officer will be given a subpoena to testify against you. If the Officer does not show up in court the case will be dismissed.
If you have an attorney representing you, he or she can create the subpoena and have it served on the witness. If you don't have representation, you must ask the court to issue the subpoena. You may then be required to pay the costs for a process server, constable, or deputy sheriff to serve the subpoena on the witness.
Yes, men have a legal obligation to pay child support if they are the biological or legal father of a child. This obligation is typically enforced by family court orders.
Nah. I didn't have to, and my lawer said I didn't have to!(I am serious.)=This may depend on the state and county you live in. In parts of PA, if the grandparents are given custody of a child or have custody of a child, they CAN petition for child support, and yes the parents would have to pay for the care of that child.=

The term for the outcomes of court actions like judgments to pay a debt is typically called a "court order." It is a legal mandate issued by a judge that requires a party to perform a specific act, such as paying a debt or compensating for damages. Failure to comply with a court order can result in legal consequences.
only if provided for by court order, but why wouldn't you?
If the defendant cannot pay the judgment in a legal case, the court may take steps to enforce the judgment, such as seizing assets or garnishing wages.
