No. A habit is something that you do merely because you're used to do it (ie biting your nails). An addiction is something that you do because you are dependent upon it (ie smoking) and to stop doing it would cause severe distress. Habits can be fairly easily broken with enough focus and determination. Addictions are very difficult to break because your body has an actual 'need' for the item (ie the nicotine in cigarettes).
Chicken has no habit-forming capability. However, it tastes good, so people really like eating it. That's not the same thing as an addiction.
