Not very. It may take several minutes for unconsciousness to occur.

And think about it, having something tied around your neck for about 7 minuits before you die whilest its choking you to death is really painfull and 'ouch'. But if i was you i would get one of them pills that put you to sleep and get someone to kill you instead or get high take the pill then you might not feel nuthing then ;)

but when i was 12 i had hanged myself ..

first i tied two shoe-laces around my neck pretty tight ..

all i saw was white... and some parts of my vision was still intact ..

than i made my way to the noose .. the second i jumped into it i was unconsious .. i woke up in the hospital..

very quick ..' and if i am ever wantign to do myself in again

that would be my choice
