The John List home was rumored to have a Tiffany stained glass skylight for the 'ballroom' worth in the neighborhood of $100,000. But before it could be confirmed as fact of fiction the house burned down 10 months after the murders. Any trace of a Tiffany skylight went up in smoke.
It is entirely possible that there was a valuable stained glass skylight but one of the reasons List gave as justifaction for killing his entire family was money problems. Most people would sell valuables as a remedy for money problems before shooting their whole family.
We will probably never know. List died in March 2008 while incarcerated for his crimes.
Thousands
It is simply an unspecified number of hundreds of thousands!
30 hundreds are in 3 thousands
hundreds
Peolpe have been using various forms of stove and oven for many hundreds if not thousands of years, so it's unlikely that the first use is well documented.
How many thousands equal 50 hundreds?
To convert hundreds of thousands to millions, you divide by 10. Since 60 hundreds of thousands is equivalent to 60 x 100,000, that equals 6,000,000. Therefore, 60 hundreds of thousands is 6 million.
7 hundreds thousands
Obviously not!!
To find out how many hundred thousands are in 7,000 hundreds, first convert hundreds to thousands. Since 1 hundred is 0.1 thousand, 7,000 hundreds is equal to 700 thousands. There are 10 hundred thousands in 700 thousands, so the answer is 10.
There is no four digit number where the ones is twice the tens, the hundreds is five less than the ones, and the thousands is the sum of the tens and hundreds. int ones, tens, hundreds, thousands; for (thousands=1; thousands<10; thousands++) { /**/ for (hundreds=0; hundreds<10; hundreds++) { /**/ /**/ for (tens=0; tens<10; tens++) { /**/ /**/ /**/ for (ones=0; ones<10; ones++) { /**/ /**/ /**/ /**/ if (ones != 2 * tens) break; /**/ /**/ /**/ /**/ if (hundreds != ones - 5) break; /**/ /**/ /**/ /**/ if (thousands != tens + hundreds) break; /**/ /**/ /**/ /**/ printf ("dd\n", thousands, hundreds, tens, ones); /**/ /**/ /**/ } /**/ /**/ } /**/ } }
To convert hundreds to thousands, you divide by 10 since there are 10 hundreds in a thousand. Therefore, 80 hundreds divided by 10 equals 8 thousands. So, 80 hundreds is equal to 8 thousands.
