If you have someone’s ID and the police find it on your person…they can charge you with identity theft…or possession of another persons ID…and you could possibly have to go to court to argue your case and have the charges dropped. If you are holding someone’s ID, be sure you don’t get in trouble and that it’s someone you know well.

No. You may be carrying it because you went out with your buddy the night before and he gave it to you for safekeeping or many other reasons. We shouldn't assume the worst and judge and punish someone for it.
