Red and Blue lights are illegal in most if not all states since these are emergency vehicle light colors. Other then these two colors I don't find any law for Iowa regarding colors that are or are not allowed. There are exceptions that apply to flashing lights. Flashing yellow, amber, white, red and blue lights are for emergencies.

yes strobe lights are legal so long as they are not used with flashing red /blue lights . Only emergency state vehicles are authorized to use such lighting for emergency use only. Personal vehicles can use or obtain strobe lighting only and can not be used with any other colored flashing lights.

red white blue and green lights and any light that flashes is not legel in alabama. its bs motorcycles need higher levels of visibility and NO ONE is going to think a bike with body lighting is a cop or law enforment.
