Yes it is illegal to date an 18 year old if you are 13 because that means that you and the guy are 6 years apart and if you had sex with him and you sued him he could go to jail. So the best thing to do is not date because both of you can get into a lot of trouble if the city finds out.

Well it would depend on what state you live in. Some states say both parties must be at least 18. Some states are 16, while I believe some are even 14. There are other states where the male and female age of consent is different. I know that in two states the age of consent is as high as 21. You will have to look up the laws for your particular state.

I know that here in Missouri, a 14 year old can have relations with anyone 14-20. Once you turn 21 it is illegal to have relations with anyone under 17. It's a strange law, but that's how it works.
