Is it legal to babysit at 10?

I'm guessing ur the 10 year old. no, that is way too young. Your still a baby your self but when you turn 11, start with babysitting a younger sibling or walking/taking care of other people's pets. When your in middle school (12), then you are ready to start babysitting kids that are around 3-8. Before that though, WAY too young. Most people would rather have a 14 year old that does a good job and wants a lot of money, than a 10 year old who is actually having a playdate with the kid they are supposed to babysitting. It's better if you wait. Good luck though! I started babysitting when i was 12 and i got a lot of money. I tried to get a babysitting job started at 11 but everyone said i was too young and it WAS true. I had to wait another year.

At 10 you are a bit too young to be able to take on the responsibilities of babysitting, Indeed in most countries the law would require that you had a babysitter yourself if left by the person or people that were caring for you.

Yes it is, but if you are inexperienced, make sure the child can walk and talk, so you won't have to worry about carrying the child around.
