Is it ok for a 12 year old and a 15 year old to date?

It's stupid for a 12 year old to date anyone, so yes.

If you trust this person, then yes. The thought might be awkward, but it's fine. Think of it this way: If you turned 13 the person, at this point, would only be a year older than you. It's OK.

Well, maybe, but you need to think about a few things first. One, what do your parents say? And don't be disappointed if they say no, they're only trying to look out for you. And, yes, i know it's really hard not to think how your parents just don't understand how much you two like each other. Which brings me to my next point, does he really like you? Guys in their early years of high school will date any girl they think looks hot, and honestly don't care about who they are. They will though, eventually get the message -hopefully-, that hot girls don't always make the best girlfriends. Last but not least, my third point, What do you think about him? Do you think he's hot, smart, athletic, funny, nice to you and your friends, and respectful to everyone -even when they really don't deserve respect- ? Or is he the total opposite, and have a many flaws? If he doesn't apply to almost all the first set of thoughts, he's most likely not worth it.

Well are you the 12 year old or the 15 year old? Do you really think a 15 year old would want to date an 12 year old? If you were 12, would you want to go out with someone that's 8 years old because that's what it would be like to the 15 year old. But if you both want to go out, that's your choice.

To the direct above, yea, it is just a number. But that number can explain a lot of things going through someones mind. My answer is no.

I think it is ridiculous that a 12 year old is going out on dates. It is much too young to be getting into that whole boy/girl thing. And there is a big difference in maturity levels at those ages.

There are no laws against it, but it wouldn't be a good idea. Any sexual activity could be a crime.

I think it all depends on how mature and how responsible the 14 year old boy is. There are definitely some things that should be off limits, but only until they are old enough and know better.
