Mercy killing, also known as euthanasia, should be legal because it allows individuals who are suffering from terminal illnesses or in unbearable pain to have a dignified and peaceful death if they choose to end their own lives. Legalizing mercy killing also respects individual autonomy and the right to die with dignity.
No it is not as the country is very Catholic.
Mercy killing is the killing of an individual by another one. The victim is generally, terminally ill and wants to end his life. Mercy killing is done with the consent of the victim, but there are many cases recorded where it has been done without the consent of the victim.......Mercy killing is legal in many western countries...but it is still not legalized in India.
Plastic bag suffocation is a great example of mercy killing.
Yes mercy killing is another way of saying euthanasia.
There is no difference, "Euthanasia" is just the Greek word of mercy killing!

It is to kill something out of mercy, like puting something out of its misery EX: dog gets hit by a car and is going to die soon and there is nothing you can do to fix it so you kill it to end its pain, that is consiterd as , a mercy kill. sorry did'nt fully read the question but in federal law.. if its a person i dont think they do that, but in a case of an animal i dont think the police will do anything if you kill it to end its pain.
mercy killing is when you kill a person or an animal by injecting poison in their food. it is used when and if the person has a sickness that would kill them anyway, so their loved ones kill them earlier on so they don't have to suffer. is not morally correct. chacha again, my friend!
