QuidBids is a penny auction site, they are what they call legal scams. You gamble to win rather than just bid. The reason why they are considered scammish is because there has been a decent amount of reports claiming that they have charged peoples accounts without their consent.

"Quibids - False Advertising for $150.00 on 06/21/2011

I WORK OF LINE TO BIDS ON PRODUCTS THAT WERE AVAILABLE AND FOUND THAT I WAS BIDDING AGAINST QUIBIDS AND NOT OTHER BIDDERS BECAUSE YOU WOULD SEE NAMES COME UP JUST IN TIME TO MADE YOU BUY MORE BIDS, SO THEY CAN MADE MORE MONEY.THE SAME NAME WOULD BID IN DIFFERENT AREAS AT THE SAME TIME. THEY ARE A FRAUD AND SCAM SO BE CAREFULLY,THEY WILL DRIVE THE PRICE UP SO YOU WILL BUY MORE BIDS."

"Quibids - Unauthorized Credit Card Charge for $300.00 on 06/15/2011

They said that I could not start with out adding my credit card then they charged my account $60 FIVE times!"
