No. A scenic easement prevents another from obstructing the view.
A landscape maintenance easement is less exact. It could be an easement to encroach on another's property in order to perform maintenance.

No. Also, other utilities can't use the easement unless that right was granted in the original instrument that granted the easement.
You should read your deed and examine its restrictions. Not knowing what binding covenants exist, or reasons for easements exist, it is hard to say. In one particular situation, The answer on one easement was yes and on the other was no, and it was on the same exact piece of property!
Your governing documents, including any maintenance tasks included in the annual budget will give you the answer to your question.Generally, all lawns, except lawns specifically owned and maintained by a single owner, are covered in landscape maintenance tasks, because these real estate assets are owned in common with all other owners. If your budget line item reads 'landscape maintenance', your board of directors can define exactly which lawn areas are covered by that percentage of your assessment payment assigned to landscape maintenance.
Not unless the first easement owner was granted the right to assign it to other landowners in the original grant of easement. If not, the other land owner must obtain a separate easement from the owner of the land over which the easement passes.
Non-exclusive means that other persons may have or be may be given that same right or easement.
No, maintenance and transmission is not the same thing.
Easements are not the same thing as fee ownership. Therefore, not all "control" is relinquished when an easement is granted. The terms and words of the easement usually identify the permissible uses. Generally speaking, what is not permitted is prohibited. The typical easement is for ingress, egress and utilities. It may be limited to a term of years or a particular person but this is unusual. A significant number of lawsuits I handle for clients involve easements and disputes of what is permitted and what is not. Why? Because usually people don't really know how to write the easement or don't really understand what they give or get when an easement is involved. See a lawyer in your jurisdiction and take a copy of the easement for him or her to review. Should be a minimal charge to review your particular circumstances. -pml

A prescriptive easement is an easement created from an open, adverse, and continuous use over a statutory period. If you have ever heard of adverse posession, it is essentially the same thing except that it creates an easement as opposed to someone acquiring the title to land. In some states (such as MA) the law also requires that the continuous use be "exclusive", meaning that only the person claiming the easement by prescription has been using it during the statutory period, not just everyone who comes along. Also, a prescriptive easement may be defeated if the landowner occasionally blocks the access to everyone. That way, anyone who incorrectly believes he or she has a right to go across the land will discover it is not true.
