Mankind lives in a fallen state because of the original sin of Adam and Eve. But since all who ask are forgiven of sin by Christ Jesus, sin does not "build up" into violent events.

The hearts of men are sinful by nature. God knew this was true. He knew that Adam and Eve would sin. Terrorism is just more of the same old sin that comes from the hearts of humans. It is not the result of sin. It is not a punishment for sin.
