No it is not !

Any form of action used to force your ideas and beliefs on someone else is one of the lowest forms of criminal activity. It should be scorned at every opportunity. If telling people your ideas doesn't convince them, then maybe your ideas are wrong.

That said, we don't have a commonly-agreed on definition of the word "terrorism" and, until we do, it's a very hard to develop value judgments regarding this hot topic. As they say, "One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." It's generally easy to identify whether someone is targeting military enemies or civilians, however.
