Yes Oh yes!! I thought when I bought them they were the best out there. My opinion has changed and my feelings on goodyear have too.
On my 2005 Ford Explorer I have Goodyear Assurance Triple-Tred tires. They are very expensive at $820 with installation, road hazzard warrenty and lifetime rotate and ballence. However these tires are very well suited for the Ford Explorer. Here is a link for convience: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Assurance+TripleTred
Hmmm... well if i can recall...the members of the triple alliance were Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy.
good year triple-tread assurance The V70 was designed around the Pirelli P6000 tyre - or so a Volvo mechanic once told me...
There are many tires that fit that category. If you want the very best tire in almost every category, I would recommend the Goodyear Assurance Triple Tread in size 205/70-15. It is pricey at around $100 per tire. On the other end of the scale is the Yokohama AVID TRZ. At around $60 per tire it is an outstanding tire for the money. There are many tires in between these two. www.tirerack.com is a good source for information.
