She claims that there are many reasons the original trial did not serve the name of justice. She claims that many facts were left out of the case, and one juror in specific slept during the testimony and did not fulfill her duties.

Raye Dawn is not a convicted child killer. She was convicted of enabling child abuse. I am NOT saying that she is innocent of the crime, I am merely saying that you should avoid believing one side or another 100% because it is obvious that MANY people failed little Kelsey.

In the interest of justice for Kelsey, I am curious as to why the man who obviously killed her was only convicted of enabling child abuse? I wonder why the Briggs family continued to communicate with that man after Kelsey's death, and I wonder why the Briggs family has lied about so many things regarding Lance's whereabouts and his seeming lack of concern for Kelsey, just handing over all of his decison making as a parent to his mother?

Its a TERRIBLE story that I don't see a conclusion to any time soon.
