What are Liberties included in the constitution before the bill of rights was added?

The main body of the Constitution is made up of seven articles. The Articles explain how the government works. They also carefully describe the rules for electing government officials, like Senators and the President. Only one right is mentioned: It says that anyone accused of committing a federal crime has the right to a trial by jury.

Article 1, Section 2, Clause 2 essentially grants the right to run for the House of Representatives to those who have been citizens for at least 7 years, are 25 years or older, and an inhabitant of the state they would represent.

Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3 grants the population of each state the right to be represented by a number of representatives proportionate to the population of their state relative to the population of the U.S. as a whole.

Article 1, Section 3, Clause 3 essentially grants the right to run for the Senate to those who have been citizens for at least 9 years, are 30 years or older, and an inhabitant of the state they would represent.

Article 1, Section 2, Clause 3 grants the population of each state the right to be represented by 2 senators, regardless of how many people live in the state.

Article 1, Section 9 grants:

• the right to a Writ of Habeas Corpus (a guarantee against any detention that is forbidden by law)
• the right to not be subject to any Bill of Attainder (a law passed that takes away rights without a trial)
• the right to not to be subject to any ex post facto Law (a law passed after you did something that makes it illegal after the fact)
• the right to conduct commerce between US states without an "import" tax just for bringing the goods into one state from another.

Article 1, Section 10 guaranteed that once you had a legal contract, a state couldn't pass a law to cancel that contract.

Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 essentially grants the right to run for President or Vice President to natural born citizens aged 35 or older.

Article 3 gives the right to trial by jury and to appeal decisions from a trial

The purpose of the Bill of Rights is to list the rights of the people. There were no “liberties “ in the constitution. A constitution is a framework for government and generally doesn’t provide for rights.
