What are the 6 goals of the constitution found in the permeable?

Regarding the preamble to the United States Constitution, it is arguable (at least in my mind) whether there were 6 goals, 7 goals, 5 goals... or perhaps just a single goal with the rest simply the means to achieve that goal. So let's reprint it here, and parse it to bits:

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

So, was the goal to "form a more perfect Union"? If so there was only one goal, with the rest the means to achieve it.

Or, forget everything in between and imagine that the goal was to "ordain and establish this Constitution", in which case everything else, once again, is simply means to accomplish.

On the other hand, perhaps each statement is a goal, leaving me to wonder whether the "Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and (to) our Posterity..." meaning "our children", is two goals or one.

Anyway, there are somewhere between one and seven goals put forth in this bit of literature, and it will be best to pick the six your history instuctor, professor or teacher is happy with...unless you are studying psychology or law, then you can say anything you want.
