What are the major problems with health care in this country and How can you fix them?
We have surprisingly few problems with the care of people in this country. If I had to pick one issue it would be the skyrocketing costs.
These costs are caused, in large part, by people like John Edwards and other lawyers that have made millions on abusing the system. Limiting malpractice would be a great first step. Allowing the organized hunting of ambulance chasers is probably going to far, but we do allowing the culling of other problem populations.... OK, still not a great idea.
Allowing our government, which is full of lawyers, to regulate and meter out our health care is probably the absolute worst idea that we could implement. The number one place for Canadians to get a hip transplant is in Cleveland (paying for it outside of their system). I really don't want that for my kids.
