Government-owned land in Ohio is primarily found in state parks, forests, wildlife areas, and federal properties. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources manages many state parks and forests, while federal lands include national parks like Cuyahoga Valley National Park and military installations. Additionally, various local government entities also own land for public use, such as schools, libraries, and community centers. These areas provide recreational opportunities and preserve natural resources for residents and visitors.
