Orajel, a topical oral pain reliever, does not contain alcohol, so it should not cause a Soberlink SL2 breathalyzer to register a false positive for alcohol. However, some breathalyzers can be sensitive to certain substances or conditions in the mouth, potentially affecting readings. It's always best to follow the manufacturer's guidelines and consult with a professional if there are concerns about specific products impacting breathalyzer results.

Alcohol in mouthwash may cause you to fail a breathalyzer test because the residual alcohol remains in your mouth for up to 15 minutes after using. The breathalyzer will pick up this residual alcohol in your breath and not differentiate whether it came from mouthwash or beverages. You should never take a breathalyzer test within 15 minutes of taking mouthwash or an alcoholic beverage in order to let the residual mouth alcohol dissipate.Mouthwash can cause a positive result on an ETG test. Whether or not an asthma medication could do the same thing would depend on whether it contained alcohol, how often it was used, and when the test was give.

Well first of all high amounts of any type of cough syrup will back fire on you and cause you to have the reverse effect. The thinking that if one dose is good, that more than one dose is even better doesn't work with cough syrups. Tend to make you jittery and sleeplessness can occur. of course mixing Valium with the antihistimines and other ingredients in cough syrups is probably not a great idea, but you would probably be ok if a small dosage of Valium. But this combination probably wouldn't have a pleasant effect.
