Depends. Usually, you have to clean it and get charged a fine and a misdemeanor.

Added: Define "vandalism." It can mean many things to many different people - from spray-painting graffiti on a wall up to burning something down or blowing it up. It depends on what the vandalism amounts to - what it is that was vandalized - how costly it is - and how much damage was done to it. So-called 'vandalism' CAN amount to the offense of "Destruction of Property" and if done with criminal intent could possibly amount all the way up to to a felony offense.
