It depends on where you are. In some states and countries you cannot be executed for anything. In other countries you can be executed for a variety of actions. Generally the individuals who have been executed have committed murder. To what degree is decided by the courts and the state where the murder/s take place. There is a case here in FL where Michael Hernandez who nearly decapitated,(newspapers said stabbed to death) his classmate, is getting a term of life.
