Bullies bully people so they can mainly feel better about themselves, maybe thinking they are tougher or better than you. Many people bully others and not notice it, taking it as a laugh when others are hurt by the bully's actions. If you think you hurt someone but did not intend it, you should confess and try to make it up to those you hurt. If bullying happens at school or work you should talk to the schools guidance teachers or heads or your boss. If it is happening outside of school, it is best to consult police / parents.

In short, bullies get a cheap sense of power from bullying.
