What does PA mean when referring to a lawyer?

Generally, PA means professional association, "a type of corporation that gives the tax benefits of incorporation, but doesn't relieve the member of professional liability", in most text that I've seen, but in lists of acronyms prosecuting, and public attorney are, also, given as possible meanings as well as power of attorney, though, in general, the appropriate acronym for the latter is POA. In essence, the meaning would depend upon the context in which the acronym was used.
