Pepper spray is very potent.

Just the inhalation of some aerosolized pepper spray can be a significant irritant to many people. It irritates the mucus membranes... can cause some moderate difficulty breathing, coughing, burning sensation in the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Also, it will irritate the skin as well. However, this discomfort is mild compared to being sprayed directly in the eyes.

Best treatment for pepper spray is water... and lots of it. Some even recommend milk to get it out.

Best to avoid it at all costs!
