This amendment changed the date of the inauguration to an earlier date. The purpose was to eliminate the time a lame duck president would be able to stay in office.

The punishment was to be sent to the princibles office, it wasn't so drastic.
The 20th amendment changed the president's inauguration from March 4th to January 20th. This way, after the election in November, the U.S wasn't waiting as long for the new president to take office.
Some things...the 15th amendment was said that no citizen's vote could be taken away because of his race or color or because he was once a slave. the 19th amendment stated that all women in the US were allowed to vote. The 22nd amendment limited a presidency of a single person to only 2 terms of office (8 years). The 26th amendment changed the voting age from 21 to 18+.
