Anything not supported will be denied...he'll probably start looking at and for more and more - like hidden income, and penalties and interest - likely again at the highest amount possible, will be included in the assessment. It can then get worse...he very likely could feel it was intentional and an act to defraud...which means criminal charges are possible...and yet additional costs at the very least.
