Please guide me regarding the L/C clause No. 47 A 8 as per latest version of UCP 600, As my Bank from where I am establishing my L/C's mentions in the clause 47 A 8 that if my shipping documents have any discrepancy they will charge the beneficiary of the said L/C US $ 50/= as discrepancy charges.
How far it is correct?
And suppose I give them in writing at the time of receiving my original shipping documents that I will accept the discrepancy, Still they will charge US $ 50/= from the beneficiary of the said L/C ? or they will not charge ?
Please guide me.
