It is my understanding that road rage happens when one driver does something that makes another driver angry. Some examples might be pulling out of a side road in front of a car coming down a road when you actually should have waited until the car passed, not giving a turn signal when turning, tailgating, etc. In any of those examples, and hundreds of other driving situations, if the driver of the other car involved becomes irate and shows anger, such as pulling up beside you to scream or curse at you, or demonstrates irate behavior in any way, it is road rage. This type of road rage has nothing to do with the type of seats in a vehicle, so maybe there is another type of road rage that I am not aware of. Leather tends to not breathe as well as cloth, so drivers may be more likely to become uncomfortable and therefore afford less patience to their fellows while in leather seats. road rage is not the same thing as road rash which is what your thinking of
