What is the difference in I love you but I'm not in love with you?

it means they care for you, but they don't have that feeling yet that makes them that trully want you forever. theyre not quite ready yet.

All you have to do is show that you really love her, keep making her happy, don't let her feel pressured. make sure shes comfortable. if you keep doing this and make her happier everyday, you then canraise the relationship up a tiny more. It will guadully get bigger and bigger and reach that feeling the shes looking for. and that's how she will start to be in love with her.

That's a bit delusional actually: it most likely means she's not really into you and you should stop dating her and find someone who sure she's crazy about you.

It also means that she does doesn't have that physical, romantic and/or intense sexual attraction that could make her stay with you.

it depends on the answering party. if someone generally is just like "i love you" it can be taken in many ways; like brother to brother, friend to friend, or partner to partner. it can be paraphrased as "i really care about you"

But to be 'in love with you' is usually an exchange between partners when someone has feelings for you.

I think you can love someone AND be In love with the same person. You love him or her for the person they are and you're in love in the romantic sense.

i love you is when a person cares about you and have all goody feelings and its at that point where you can use that expression "i love you", in love is when the relationship is more ready for a physical stage and more passionate. in either one you feel like you could die without the person being with you. with everyone though it can mean a different thing, but if someone says i love you to soon, it may show lack of commintment in the relationship because they may just want one simple thing...sex

well you dont love her/him so just forget about it.

when they say that, they mean that they have love for you, and they care about you. there is a difference between loving someone and being IN LOVE with someone. when you are in love, nothing can shake those feelings. you would do anything for that person, and seeing them brightens up your day. when they touch you, its almost as if your problems go away. its actually rather difficult to explain....
