yes. in most courtrooms there is a dresscode. men should wear a suit & tie. the women should wear either a dress,or a skirt,with a decent blouse. both men and women should try and look as best as possible. well presentable. just to be sure ask someone in your local court,or whatever courthouse your hearing will be at, call that court at least a couple days before you are supposed to be court. they will tell you what the dress code is.
