History within the crimimnal justice policy has evolved by constantly passing or conjuring up new laws. Most upfront, is the policy to better protect society. Back in the prohibition days, police was not only concerened with the idea of illegal alcohol being made and distributed, but also because of the violence, mostly within the mobs who ran it.People would easily lose their life over the business and finacial aspect of illegal or bootlegged alcohol. Today, the criminal justice policy still maintaines public protection, and now with terrorists about, they are more prone to ensure public safetey than ever before.

Comparative criminal justice?

Comparative criminal justice is the study of different criminal justice systems across various countries and cultures, focusing on their structures, processes, and outcomes. It aims to understand how legal frameworks, law enforcement practices, and judicial procedures vary globally, and the impact of these differences on crime rates and societal responses to crime. By analyzing these systems, researchers can identify best practices, inform policy decisions, and promote international cooperation in combating crime.
