The Executive Branch, headed by the President, runs the country subject to the laws passed by Congress and officiated over by the Judicial. All of the government services and expenditures are done through the executive branch.

The president is in charge of all the executive departments. Everything the federal government does except for passing laws and the judgement part of the court system is his responsibility. He must make sure that Federal Laws are enforced, that violators are prosecuted, that taxes are collected, that federal employees do their jobs and are paid.
