on page 77 of the 28th edition of "blue book of gun values is a beautiful picture of the model 1903 with serial # 79070 that was made circa 1907. you can view it online at their website store.bluebookinc.com , I have found values of 150.00 to 250.00
These were manufactured from 1926 to 1945. If it is marked with both the Savage and Stevens names, it was probably made after 1941.
Roughly $450-$600, depending on condition, exact model.
If it was manufactured before 1/1/1969, it probably doesn't have one. If manufactured later, it should be clearly marked on the receiver.
Canadian Industries Limited manufactured ammunition and imported firearms, mostly from Brazil. If your shotgun is marked 'Made in Brazil', it is not a Savage. If marked 'Made in USA', it may be.
Stevens guns were made at the plant in Chicopee Falls, Mass. Guns made from 1864 to 1886 will be marked J. STEVENS & CO. From 1886 to 1916 they were marked J. STEVENS A & T CO or J. STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO. No Stevens firearms were manufactured from 1916 until 1920 when Savage Arms purchased the facilities and name. From 1920 until 1942 (or '48) Savage marked guns J. STEVENS ARMS CO and after that simply STEVENS or STEVENS/SAVAGE. The Stevens name was discontinued in 1991.
If your barrel is marked .300 Savage then you can shoot .300 Savage ammunition by any manufacturer. I do not know of a "300 Savage Winchester Magnum".
Marked on the barrel.
Fairly scarce pistol, most were in .32 caliber. Depending on condition, $650-$850. Likely a model 1907. (Patent dates will always be earlier than date of manufacture or Model date)
yes

There should be a manufacturer's serial number somewhere. Unless the serial number has been deliberately erased!
Not marked, Model 9
