That is a good question. I have seen some of the better condition dated coins with the Morgan type front go for as high as $18.00 on ebaY. I think the dated ones with dates like 1983-84 if in near mint condition should be worth a solid $15-20 to a serious collector.

These "coins" are really bullion pieces sold for their silver content. The "999" means it is 999/1000 of an ounce of pure silver. At current (07/2008) prices that's worth about $18.

That's not an actual dollar coin, but rather a silver bullion round. The coin might not have a date, but it should at least mention its weight. As of 19 February 2014, silver is worth $21.84 per troy ounce.
