U.S. citizens are expected to obey laws that originate from various sources, primarily the Constitution, federal and state statutes, and local ordinances. The Constitution serves as the supreme law of the land, establishing the framework for government and individual rights. Legislative bodies at the federal, state, and local levels create laws that govern society. Additionally, judicial interpretations and regulations from administrative agencies further shape the legal landscape that citizens must follow.
Citizens must obey the law.
obey the law
pay taxes and obey the law
Respect people, respect property & obey the laws of the land.
1. You must obey the law. 2. You must enroll to vote (unless you have extenuating circumstances) 3. You must pay taxes. 4. You must serve on a jury (if called upon) 5. You must defend Australia if the need arises.
In my opinion, it is important that citizens are expected to pay their due taxes, obey the law, to protest peacefully against any law that they consider is unjust, in which case, to badger their Member of Parliament (MP)! and to vote in local politicians at by-elections, and the Government at the General Election. Well, you did ask for my opinion!
Filipino citizens have the responsibilities to obey the law, pay taxes, vote in elections, defend the country if necessary, and participate in community activities for the betterment of society. They are also expected to respect the rights of others and contribute positively to the nation's development.
Technically, everyone must follow the law.
1.) To share equal responsibilities 2.) To obey the same law 3.) ...I'm not sure...
Citizens are expected to participate more actively in a democracy. in a republic, citizens do not participate as directly.
Obey The Law was created on 1926-11-05.
This question would be better phased to ask "What does a citizen do to help his community?" This makes more sense than "required" . In the required area the only requirement is to pay their taxes. Ideally a good citizen will vote in all elections and take an interest in the affairs of his community, State and country.
