enroll and graduate in a certified phlebotomy program from a university, college, or trade school. I would highly recommend the lesser expensive college or univ. They usually run 6-8 weeks for anatomy, medical terminology, and then usually have to have 100 or so actual "needle sticks" in order to be elgible to take the national certification test.
