  • If you are in school then tell the counselor and also your parents and the name of the young man that is following and that you have rejected him. If he does not stop then your parents have the control to go to the police and form a 'Cease and Desist Order' against him. Be sure to have a friend or friends walk with you to school and home again and keep in good contact by cell phone with one of your parents or stay at a friends house if your parents are not home from work. If you are working and not a minor then be sure to tell your boss what is going on. If you drive do not park underground and get one of your coworkers to walk you to your car. You can also obtain a 'Cease and Desist Order' to try and get this man to stop following you. Be sure to look inside your car (rear seat) before getting into your car whether it is day or night; be sure you are aware of what is around you and when you get home keep emergency numbers close to you and do not let anyone into your home if you have a 'gut feeling.' Do not go out alone at night. Do not answer any phone or text messages from him and if you are on Facebook then stay off it for awhile. More and more women are taking Defense Courses to help protect themselves. Even though pepper spray and sometimes bear spray in many States is illegal get some! It is better to break a small law to protect yourself if you feel you are in dire danger than have nothing to protect yourself.
