The most recent amendment that has been adopted is the 27th Amendment.

You may be referring to any number of suggested "28th" amendments. For instance, one would require that any law enacted by Congress apply equally to Congress and the citizens of the United States. Currently, Congress is able to exempt themselves from the legislation by putting in a clause in a bill when no part of the bill will be applied equally to Senators and representatives.

There have also been suggestions for amendments guaranteeing the right to a decent wage, the right to a nonpartisan direct representative democracy, limit to campaign contributions, term limits for congress, and many more during the years before and since 1992 when the last amendment was enacted.
