popular sovereignty
Allowing people to decide about slavery themselves is often referred to as popular sovereignty or self-determination. It is the concept of allowing individuals or a group to make decisions about their own governance and social policies.
right it is........... In a direct democracy/pure democracy the people outmost, 100%, fully influence the running of their country or certain decisions. They are the consensus i'd say and they are the voice, so you actually hear what the people have to say 'directly' lol so yeah the people decide on issues themselves.
to decide is such an easy way to have your own say in the world....allowing is to let yourself do something... and the people is such a strong word; it kind of sounds like a group that particulary decide on something they feel should be thought upon. Allowing the people to decide- let the group (people) have their own say in the world
No, people decide for themselves to hear his message or not.
A Democracy
Popular sovereignty is allowing the people to decide on the issue themselves by voting instead of having the government decide. In the US it was used by the government in the territories to the West because of the intense issue of slavery. The people could decide if they were a slave state or not, but because of a corruption in the voting Bloody Kansas erupted and the fighting did not stop until the Civil war broke out just a bit later.
they killed all the people from french and they gained all the power from England also.

Popular Sovereignty
The Missouri Compromise. Allowing the people to decide free or slave was Popular Sovereignty.
i don't see any issues with it but some people believe that the animals should die when its time and not when you decide.
Stephen Douglas proposed the idea of popular sovereignty, allowing territories to vote on whether to allow slavery. He believed this would settle the issue by letting the people in each territory decide for themselves.
