OPINION: If the above were to ever take place, it would restrict or cut off the out-migration of the those nations population and would have the result of those country's peoples becoming more active and agitating for change within their OWN countries. The end result of this would be internal pressure on their own governments and politicians to raise the nation's own standard of living, level of income, resulting in more prosperity for those nations.

Under the present scenario, the US is functioning as a safety valve and 'bleeding off' the necessary 'steam' that could supply the power that would fuel this 'engine of change.'
