In the United States (from what I know) you must have a drivers liscense to operate any aquatic vehicle.
It is illegal to operate your boat in areas such as marked no-wake zones, which are designated to protect shorelines and wildlife. Additionally, navigating in restricted zones near military bases, underwater pipelines, or protected wildlife sanctuaries is prohibited. Furthermore, operating a boat while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is illegal in all waterways. Always check local regulations for specific restrictions in your area.
