It depends on your state laws. In general, any knife, or any object that can be used as a weapon can be a concealed weapon. However, most states specify length requirements for what can or can't be legally carried as a weapon. In Tennessee, the law makes it illegal to carry a knife of 4 inches or more as a weapon.

Look at www.packing.org and you can find concealed carry laws for every state. You can also find links as to where you can and cannot carry weapons. I know GA is a relatively easy place to get a concealed carry permit. Usually consists of a class, some shooting, defensive tactics, the laws, and associated costs to pay for the permit. There will probably be different laws concerning carrying a concealed wepaon and having a weapon in your vehicle. The term concealed weapon simply means any weapon you have concealed, so yes, by definition, brass knuckles could be a concealed weapon. State laws in the U.S. vary, so depending on where you are, they may or may not be illegal.
CCW is shorthand for "carry concealed Weapon". It generally refers to a sidearm that is suited for concealed carry. These would be smaller and flatter than most sidearms. Nearly any sidearm CAN be carried concealed, but some are more readily caried in that fashion.
