Assassins have many different reasons for what they do. One main reason is that they get paid to do what they do. The people who hire assassins usually want someone they consider a threat or an obstacle to future plans gotten rid of. Some who hire assassins do it for religious, political or other reasons. But much of the time it is done for greed or power or both. Another reason for hiring an assassin is for revenge.
