Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I do believe the only stipulation to not being able to sit on a jury is you cannot be connected to the perp or victim in anyway. I.E. you cannot have known them before hand due to the fact a bias opinion may be present. And the obvious answers you have to be a U.S. Citizen and pay taxes, and be at least 18.
Added: Felons are prohibited from sitting on a jury. People who know the parties are generally struck in voir dire, just as those who are unable to be impartial or have biases that would effect their judgment.
