Candyman was a movie that was directed by Bernard Rose and it was released in 1992. It is obviously a parody of the Bloody Mary myth. According to the legend, if you say his name five times, he'll appear on the mirror with a hook on his hand. In the 1890s, Candyman was an artist which he did portraits of people, however, he had an affair with the daugther of a wealthy man.

Right after the wealthy man heard of the affair, he send a riot of hooligans to track down Candyman which they succeed of capturing him, right after that, they tied Candyman and sawed off his painting hand, then the wealthy man captured Candyman's soul on the hatred mirror.
