D.M.I. Which stands for Dead man Inc. is a predominantly white gang that started in the Maryland prison system sometime between 2000 and 2002 at the Hagerstown region by a two men named Perry Rourke and Jimmy Sweeney. Due to the many dominant black gangs in the system ( Bloods, Crips, BGF, and others) the D.M.I. spread quickly and absorbed smaller white gangs in the system such as the Polar Bear Family and the few Arian groups that were in the system. They started out as hit men for the BGF to mask violence by the BGF but quickly grew into a force to be reckoned with. Today, the gang has spread into several states and has become one of the most violent gangs in the Maryland system- showing no hesitation to attack other gangs and staff alike. They have a complex ranking system and can be ranked at least 3rd in size in the Maryland system.
