Why do women think they don't get paid as much?

Many women erroneously believe they don't receive the same salary as men because feminist groups with an agenda present their case in that manner. Wages should be compared by occupation, seniority, overtime and time-off from work. Men make more money than women because; 1/ Men work in the dangerous occupations that pay more. 2/Men work an average of 5 hours more per week than women. 3/Women take more time off because of family considerations (babies, et al).

Unfortunately it is sad to say that there are people out there that still believe that White Males are superior over everyone else, and are just plain sexist/racist. It is something that is sadly still going on today, but slowly on the decrease.

because of the history of where women have come from; alot of people are still sexist, and even when thought of as equal, a lot of people subconsciensely see us as inferior to them

In the US it is illegal to give men a higher salary than women, although some people still do it.

In some other countries though, women are not even ALLOWED to have jobs!

Yes, if they do the same work. I am female myself, but not really buying into feminism much. Pay should be based on the work you do, not your gender role. If a woman does the same quality of work as a man who does the same job, then the pay should be equal. But, if she puts in less hours, and works less diligently, then she should be payed less.
